Commemorative badges issued in the USSR

Anniversaries - is usually round date: in ten years, at least five years. Torzhestenno celebrate the anniversary date, it is dedicated to the important event of the country or the birth of a great man.

During Soviet times, anniversaries were observed more active than annually, a few weeks the country was preparing for the celebration, for example, such as dates:

• anniversary of the October Revolution,
• anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War,
• anniversaries of the birth of Lenin
• anniversaries of the date of astronautics, etc.

By the anniversary events in the Soviet Union produced by many symbols, including the pleasure of collectors, commemorative badges. Mass production of commemorative badges were devoted to significant events, such as:

• Labor Day on May 1
• May 9 Victory Day
• to the formation of the USSR issued commemorative badges in the form of medals, etc.
